The men and women have been working extremely hard. We have a roster size of 62 athletes. The J-Term has depleted our roster size as many of our athletes are completing internships or traveling over the month of January.
Great start to the indoor season! Our men and women won a combined five events at the Wartburg Relays on Friday night. A year ago the Beavers won one event. The Beaver men won three events; Stefan Petersen in the long jump, the 4x200 (Christian Cottingham-Stefan Petersen-Seth Woodson-Ryan Eberly), and the 4x400 (Ryan Eberly-Seth Woodson-Brian Patterson-Christian Cottingham). The Beaver women won two events; Amber Riedy in the pole vault and the sprint medley (Maggie Marker-Laura Eberly-Abby Hesnard-Holly Nuetzman). We hope to build momentum from Friday’s performances. We travel to Wayne State and Iowa State this coming weekend before hosting the Dennis Young Classic on Saturday, January 28th. I hope to see as many alumni as possible Saturday the 28th.
